By accessing or using Storybound ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access the service.

Description of Service

Storybound provides a platform that allows users to create, customize, and order printed books and other creative works from text prompts and other content. Our services include content generation, book creation tools, and order fulfillment through third-party printing services.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of our service, you must create an account. You agree to:

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or submit through our service ("User Content"). Content Restrictions

• Contains hate speech or promotes discrimination
• Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit

Orders and Payments

Order Process

When you place an order through our service, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method for the total amount of your order.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in the currency specified on our website. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been placed.

Order Fulfillment

Orders are fulfilled through third-party printing services. Delivery times and shipping costs will be communicated at the time of order. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party service providers.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and cancellation policies are subject to the terms of our third-party fulfillment partners. Once an order has been submitted for printing, it may not be cancellable. Please contact us if you have questions about a specific order.

Intellectual Property

The service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Storybound and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our service without our express written permission.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To collect or track the personal information of others
• To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Storybound and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
